Good Sunday morning, dear readers. We hope every one of you celebrated the coming of the New Year with joy and much anticipation. The notes on other blogs, in the newspapers, and throughout the media, are full of resolutions and ideas on reinvention.
At Lip-sticking, we, too, will be going through a reinvention. This year, in an attempt to provide you with detailed information on marketing to women online, using our own Dick-e-meter (named after Jane's brother, Dick...who, all his life wanted to become famous for measuring something), we will be doing more reviews of blogs, websites, and books.
Our in-depth reviews will be looking for "female-friendliness" as a key ingredient to blogs, websites, and books. This does NOT mean we will be ignoring the good men in our lives. Truth be told, we would not be riding the wave of success we are riding today were it not for a few chosen men in our own lives. Hence, when we cite a review for "female-friendliness" or lack thereof, it will be written to address the quality of information, layout, design, and overall usefulness...regardless of the gender behind the blog, site or book reviewed.
We hope, dear readers, that YOU will join in assigning the value of "female-friendliness" to our posts. Jane does not profess to have ALL the answers...only most of them. Comments, pro or con, are expected, and welcomed.
