Ditto on the shorts thing. I'm 35 and I've been buying shorts from the guys section (khaki's and board shorts) for a few years now. I have a decent figure, but i'm no hard body, and i just don't like feeling self conscious about my hind view. I think it would be smart for Gap, and other women focused clothing stores, to focus on some women's shorts that are a little longer, yet also stylish and flattering.
Thanks!

Full disclosure: I've not set foot (or ever-growing hips) into a Gap in years. And, their commercials have done nothing lure me back. I like Sara Jessica Parker and respect Madonna as a world-class marketer...but...I know I couldn't get away with those skin-tight jeans and wearing a man's tie as a belt. So, I'd suggest that the Gap needs to do more at the strategic level - in addition to making their web site user friendly and shopping fun. (Personally, I buy my stretchy little Ts at Target - grest quality for less than $10.)

N. Kelly, I didn't see a "see all products" on their category pages, but...they are still putting the finishing touches on the site, so...that may change. I prefer scrolling down (as do many of my friends) but will click through to page after page if I have no other choice. Having choice is the key. Do your visitors KNOW they can scroll??

Sharon -- you are right on! I need to check out Eddie Bauer next.

This is great information. Although, on our site we have found that typical users do not scroll and continue to use the click through all the pages method. Do they have a "see all products" on their category pages?

I love the GAP too, their little stretch tees are the best around. But I must admit that as the years have rolled by those short shorts are not in my range anymore! Time and time again I've walked out depressed thinking I just won't look on those racks! Ahh just around the corner I found Eddie Bauer with some things running a little longer. Picking and choosing from two great stores but I'll never give up my tees!
