In Scottsville, NY, this Sunday, on Mother's Day, women will be standing, at 1pm, for five minutes - for peace. This is not original to
our little locale, but started in Ohio (from what I can gather.) This is a demonstration of commitment - to building a better future. It's for the children, as is everything we do - men and women, alike. Join the women and men who see a brighter future in standing together - arm in arm, hand in hand. Across the globe.
Here's what's happening; on Sunday, Mother's Day, women around the world, will be standing for peace. This flows from The Great Grandmother Gathering, a book about women and peace.
Please participate. Visit these links to see where other women of the world will be standing, for five minutes, on Mother's Day. And join us in making the world a place of peace.

Talk about magical thinking. Hate to burst your wishful thinking bubble, but there will never be peace, ever. The moment you tell someone what to do, you will have violence. Attempts at "gun control" is one good example.
