A woman's prerogative (gad! I had to look that up twice - it just doesn't look right), is to change her mind. About anything. About lunch. About meeting you for coffee. About getting married. About where to go to dinner. About anything.
Especially about how she feels about -- those "anythings"...
For instance, in a previous blog post I said I was reading Nina DiSesa's book, Seducing the Boys Club, and I confessed to ... hating it. And, loving it, at the same time. I didn't like the tone - she seemed bent on joining the boys club, not seducing it...in those early chapters.
Well, I'm more than half-way through it now and I LOVE it! She's really picked up the pace, gotten groove, started with the real story-telling, and I am hooked. Now, I still don't like the idea of the book - that in order to get ahead you have to 'seduce' anyone, especially the boys club. But, she does make some good points.
She isn't afraid to call us out - women being women (yes, we do flirt to get our way, yes, if we know how, we manipulate the situation, and yes, we are our own worst enemies, much of the time). I'm not giving a review yet. Stay tuned. Seducing the Boys Club is a keeper!
