Toby Bloomberg, who is much smarter than I...and has a truly outstanding Blog Talk Radio show: Diva Marketing Talks, invited me to be one of her guests this week, along with Deanna "Dede" Sutton.
We'll be talking about marketing to women and social media, tonight, at 6:30 EST. Hope you can be there.
Since you all already know me, and all about me (right?)...I encourage you to visit Toby's blog to learn more about Dede and the show. But, here's a teaser...
Today's Diva Marketing Talks with Yvonne DiVita, President and Founder of WME Books and author of the popular blog Lip-sticking and Deanna "Dede" Sutton, Editorial/Creative Director of Clutchmagazine.com. Clutch Magazine is the new face of the urban “it” girl appealing to every side of today’s multicultural woman. Join us to find out why when it comes to marketing to women, as Yvonne says, "Social Media: A Match Made in Heaven."

Yvonne, DeDe and Toby...
I just listened to my first (and definitely not my last) Diva Marketing Talks and wanted to say how fabulous the conversation was! Especially the end when you started talking about the difference between Boomer women and younger generations. I never really thought about how hard it was for my mom to overcome her upbringing and instill that sense of confidence in me.
She'll hop online and buy birthday gifts in her jammies but is really hesitant to comment on a blog or join in an online conversation. Now I have an inkling of why.
Think I need to give her a call!
Thanks again for the great insights.

Toby, what fun it was being on Diva Marketing Talks, and meeting Dede. She is one in a million, don't you think? Truth is, I'm surrounded by intelligent women - who only make me look good.
It was a joy to be part of your show. Let's do it again, soon!

Seriously, you and Dede were wonderful and provided listeners with insights into marketing to women social media style , how to build great relationships (which is one of your many talents), that they can incorporate into their strategies. Thanks for the show and for your continuing friendship.
