I'm a firm believer in the March saying, "Comes in like a lion, goes out like a lamb." Which means we're in for a roller-coaster ride this year cause March is coming in like a lamb. Up here in the Northeast, we get some of our worst weather in March. Not only high winds and snowstorms, but ice storms. And, when the weather starts to warm up, there's the inevitable mud! I am really not fond of March.
Here's what I suggest we all do with March - we reserve half of our time to watching really great DVDs. Like Becoming Jane. I've had the DVD for weeks, but I haven't had a free moment to watch it. I did, however, lend it to a friend who LOVES Jane Austen (like I don't) and we'll have her report soon. Meanwhile, visit the site and take the Which Jane are You? quiz. Then, go buy the DVD and add it to your collection. There is much to learn from Becoming Jane, about marketing to women online.
I think I WILL watch one of my favorite Disney Cartoons - 101 Dalmations. Not a lot of marketing to women online advice there - unless you count recognizing that if Cruella DeVil is your favorite character, you don't need to even try marketing to women. She's a monster, not a woman.
Anyway, I have it on good authority that 101 Dalmations is Taking Over the Famed Hollywood 101 Freeway! Whoohoo! This is also going on the petblog. Here's the scoop:
Motorcade of 101 Spotted Cars Winds through Hollywood & Brings Supplies to the spcaLA in Long Beach in a Dazzling Dalmation Display! (whew, I'm glad I didn't have to write that headline)
What: A giant mobile Dalmation made of 101 spotted black & white cars driving down the famed Hollywood 101 Freeway!
When/Where: Sunday, March 2nd, 101 Freeway-Lost Hills Rd between 6:45 am and 7:15 (approximately)
Why: This puppy is unlike anything ever before attempted on the Hollywood Freeway! The canine caravan will be comprised of 101 spotted cars, 36 feet wide, and over 1,200 feet in length! All 101 cars are on a mission to spread love to animals at spcaLA's Animal Village in Long Beach, each one filled with food, treats, and various pet supplies to donate!
Gotta love it! Makes March bearable! Get the kiddies and plop down in front of the TV with'yer popcorn. Hey, don't forget the dog!
