Mother's Day Is for Flowers

Or, maybe Mother's Day is for diamonds. Or, gold or gift baskets. It all depends, doesn't it?

I hope all the Moms out there - the pet Moms, the Auntie Moms, the young Moms, the old (oops) the GRAND Moms - all have a fantastic day. I will not be with my Mom, sorry to say...and I will not be with my girls, but I will be with my son. And my kitty. And, my Tommy.

What else could a girl ask for? Nothing. Truly. No diamonds, gold or flowers. Now, if I get diamonds, gold or flowers - or a gift basket - I'll be over the moon delighted! But, I do not need those material objects on Mother's Day. A hug, a phone call, a card with a personal note - that floats my boat.

Finally, i actually decided to sign up for a blog of my own! It's really amazing as to how easy it is. I have a Wordpress blog right now but it's not from the official site , neither is it self hosted by my own.

I probably should have gotten my wife more than just flowers and a card. But I think we're both putting our money towards new furniture, which we hope to get within the next month.
