Coree, thanks for stopping by and joining the conversation. You make a great point about connecting to the right people. As for the "sexting" mention - that's a real problem with teens today. They seem to think it's okay to send naked or semi-naked pics to boyfriends or girlfriends, then... after they break up and the boyfriend or girlfriend emails those pics to everyone in their email list...well, depending on the teens age, they could be charged with Internet porn.

Food for thought.

I've found that I can handle 2 or 3 social media sites at the most. I really struggled with Facebook because of all the MLM'ers bombarding me with every biz opp, fan page, link, note, and video out there.

But, what I've found is that I just got off on the wrong foot by adding people that I worked with instead of the people I WANT to work with.(I am also Communications Director for a large internet marketing biz opp besides running a blog). As you said, participate where you will get and give the most benefit..and it has made all the difference.

If Twitter or Facebook dies out, then there will be the next. The important thing is to choose to hang out where the majority of your ideal clients are hanging out.

PS...I have 3 teens at home and they all live to text. I'm just wondering if it was intentional or subliminal where you wrote "sexting". :)
