Selling to VITO
April 24, 2004
In a previous post on the value of "Wise Men," I talked about the power of the women's market online and of the wise men who were strong enough to form partnerships with women, whether a wife, a sister, a mother, a business colleague, or a daughter. Yesterday I met, over the Internet, through an online radio show, a very wise man. A man who gets it. A man who knows that women get it, and who isn't afraid to say so.
Tony Parinella is a best selling author of Selling to VITO and other business books. Surf over to "Welcome to Vito's Office" the website Tony sells his great books on, and you'll get a flavor of what this guy is all about. The initials VITO stand for: Very Important Top Officer-- giving you a hint about the content in Selling to VITO. No doubt it will provide great insight into the market I write for at RAM: Reseller Advocate Magazine, where my monthly column is devoted to resellers in the computer servers market.
On Friday, April 23rd, I appeared as a guest expert on Tony's radio show, wsradio.com, which is part of Entrepreneur magazine's web presence. Tony hosts the Friday morning Sales and Marketing show. He and the executive producer, Marika Szoke, discovered my book somewhere along the way, found it compelling, and called to ask me to appear on the show. Tony asked some great questions on how to get in front of the women's market, noting that women are a powerful force in the world, and saying it was about time "all of us" learn more about the women's market. We talked about ways to make your web presence "female-friendly" and I offered some tips on what alienates women online. The interview was fun, informative, and focused. Because Tony is truly a wise man. A man who gets it.
For those who missed the show, you can catch it in the archives at wsradio.com or through the video/audio link on Entrepreneur's site for the next 90 days. Look for a link to it on the Dickless Marketing site next week.
WSradio.com's Sales and Marketing show is a shining example of men and women working together to help entrepreneurs improve their chances for business success, on and off-line.
What's not to like about that?
