Jane Thinks-- No, Re:thinks Pink and PowerBlogs
September 06, 2004
Jane is willing to bet that most of our readers are out on the beach today. Or, picnicking with family and friends. Jane can just smell the barbecuing...all that good chicken, those hot dogs and hamburgers with potato salad, watermelon, apple pie, and ice cream...it all makes us quite hungry!
Meanwhile, back in the blogosphere, the written word continues to get more powerful. There is much in the way of advice and encouragement to all who venture online. Bloglines tells me I am behind in my reading by 164 blog posts!
We will click through them this afternoon, when we have completed our brochure for the ReThink Pink! conference to be held in London, in October. Peter Frost, who is producing the one-day event, is a man ahead of his time, (Jane reminds readers that women like men, really we do!). To quote Peter,
"This groundbreaking one-day conference is packed with an irresistible combination of latest thinking, fresh insights, ideas and experiences from leading marketers and brand owners. This is the first conference to focus solely on all the elements of marketing to women."
There is more good news on the marketing to women online front: over at Small Business Trends, (Lip-sticking interviewed Anita Campbell recently), Jane is tickled -- dare we admit it?-- pink to announce that Lip-sticking has been included in the weekly PowerBlog review!
And...the link has already been picked up by a terrific blog Jane is so glad to find, Corporate Blogging Blog, a marvelous site to visit to expand your horizons beyond your immediate backyard.
Clearly, more people are catching on to the power of the women's market -- online, and off. We hope, dear readers, that YOU are getting the message.
What's not to like about that?
