Jane Presents Some Introductions

How did it get to be past noon already, dear readers? Jane has been working diligently all day--well, okay, we did elect to start the day by walking the dog. We're thinking that might become a regular event. Spring is on the horizon--here in Upstate NY--and we do want to get out more, exercise more, enjoy the invigorating sunlight more. A 20-minute jaunt with our honey, Tom, and our furry friend, Carmel, seems just the right start to each day.

But, once we returned home, we got right to work and...we have no idea how it got to be 1:00 pm already.

Regardless, we would like to take some time today to introduce some new friends. Those readers who are bloggers know that the blogosphere is growing exponentially-- just click on over to Technorati or check out this reader survey at Blogads (which Jane has issues with because it puts men so far ahead of women when, in reality, Jane is certain there are LOTS of women bloggers who would have clicked in, if only they'd known about it)-- so we thought we'd introduce some new blogs we came across in our surfing this week.

Naturally, these new blogs are focused on women. Naturally, if you take the time to read some of their posts, you'll gain insight into not only the vast differences in female personalities, but you'll learn a little bit more about what makes women tick. Note that Jane's announcing these blogs does not constitute a business or personal relationship with them and we urge you, dear readers, to remember that the opinions expressed on these blogs are those of their writers, NOT of Lip-sticking's.

To each his or her own, we say. Enjoy. (and don't forget to tune in tomorrow for Poodleskirt2Part II of "The Haunting of Annie Whipple.")

Utterly Powerful Women--and the men who love them, where Kyle King (a delightful lady) announces: "Women are asleep to their power and I aim to wake them up!"

Tild -- wildy outrageous and humorous but also focused on women's deeper issues. Thanks go to Jill Fallon for introducing this blog to Jane.

The National Association of Women Writers-- where women unite to write.

What's not to like about that?
