Jane Wears Herself Out

Jane Uses Balloons

Dear readers, Jane carnivals, do you?

It's Monday morning -- although you may be reading this on Monday afternoon. We are hard at work... on various presentations, and hope you will take advantage of Triple Pundit, where this week's Carnival of the Capitalists is located.

Jane especially likes Jack Yoest's post on Bureaucrats and managing business. A must read. We are crunching our way through his Women's section. Intense stuff.

We also like Lucy MacDonald's post on 5 Ways to Make Time for Marketing. The comment about Bullseye_sky disorganization hits home with a bullseye!

Meanwhile, we're off...the votes are coming in for footwear at AD:TECH. Spiked heels are winning. How did we know that would happen?

With throbbing toes, we admit: we think there's much to like about spiked heels.

Jane - spiked heels tell the world (or just the audience) that you are a woman as well as an expert. That you're sexy as well as intelligent. That you know your stuff while you strut your stuff. That we dont need to compete with the male of the species on their own terms coz we have our own terms. That is my take on it anyhow. (And possibly, if it were me, I'd still wimp out and go for comfort above all else... depending on how important that comfort was to me performing at my best)
