My Thanks to My Readers
June 10, 2006
Thank you, especially to my dear, dear friend Toby who finally connected me with Cathy at Tom Peters. Cathy was very courteous and helpful. I don't know if I will ever be re-instated to Tom Peters' blogroll, but that's okay. I respect each individual blogger's decision to add or remove links from their blogroll. It won't diminish my respect for Tom Peters' work.
On a more important note - I must thank Denise from the Judy's Book site. She kindly referenced this blog in a post she did recently. I am currently looking more closely at Judy's Book. Do any of you know about it and what do you have to say about it, if you do? It's fascinating.
Continuing with thanks, I have to pay tribute to WOMMA. The Word of Mouth Marketing blog has a new addition- a research blog. I will be paying close attention to this new addition to WOMMA, and I think you should be, too.
Further thanks go to all those readers who wrote to me in support of my "get back on Tom Peters' blogroll" attempt. You're the most important people in my world (next to family, of course.) Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your encouragement put the whole thing in perspective - I still care, but not nearly as much.
Last, I would like to thank an old blogger friend (our friendship is old, she is not!) who was one of the first people I connected with in the blogosphere - Anita Campbell. She also brought me one of my best book clients. Anita's blog, Small Business Trends, is a required read for anyone in business - small or otherwise. But, even better - Jack Yoest, a New blogging friend, contributes to her blog these days and...this post on time management is vital for all of us to read.
Go in peach and love (and yes, I know it says peach not peace...I'm in the mood for peaches). Enjoy your weekend. I have much to write about come Monday. You will not be disappointed to click in...I promise.
p.s. In true blogger fashion, I just discovered that my new friend, Jack, posted about me on his blog recently. My mentioning him, here, today, is serendipity. Ain't life grand? Thanks for the kind words, Jack.
