Net Neutrality and More Fit by Five News

I expect you've all been hearing or reading about the Net Neutrality issue. At least, I hope you are. I hope you are not just reading about it and shaking your head. I hope you're doing something about it. With that goal in mind, here are two places to grab qualified information and advice on what to do next -

1. Andy Wibbels, of Blog Wild, who knows all things Internet and blog related. When I want the real skinny, I tune in to Andy. You should, too. Check it out.

2. Patsi and Denise, two ladies who are always in the know and looking out for the rest of us. They, too, have a great handle on this thing. Visit this link and see what they have to say about "Saving the Internet."

Leaving Net Neutrality behind (but not forgotten), let's move into some items that can help you market to women online - or at least get in front of the ladies.

3. I found this goodie in a press release and thought it was perfect for the coming vacations we're Traveling all planning, many of us with our children. The site is not as female-friendly as it could be...that intro page is so useless! But, once you get inside...you'll be glad! To quote from the press release, "Owners Mellanie Bradfield and Suzanne David understand firsthand the joys and challenges of traveling with kids. 'As parents of big Madison and small Allie, we know that the pleasure of traveling with children can only be truly enjoyed if we're able to keep our kids happily occupied."

4. Staying with the child issue, here's some good information on how to keep your kids safe on the net. "Parents' 10 Point Defensive Guide to Children's Safety on the Internet."

5. And, Great information from AAPD (American Association of People with Disabilities) has come out with a look inside members' "income, purchasing choices, technology usage, and political participation." You just may be surprised. These are members of the greater population that - have jobs, shop online, raise kids, travel...gosh! just about everything you'd expect from people in the U.S. Are you addressing their concerns on your website? It's not too late to start.
