Song of my Heart: Moving On

Good old Phil, over at Make it Great!, tagged me to write about a song that makes my heart sing.

Hmmm...I'm not much of a music buff, although I love listening to the radio when I'm in my car, and I'm a devout fan of musicals. (why don't guys like musicals? muscials are energetic, exciting, full of great music, and while the plotlines aren't always of the highest caliber, they make for good watching)

Well, back to Phil and his 'tag'... I have so many songs that touch my heart, it will be really hard to choose just one. But, I will.Rascal_flats

The song I'm choosing is from Rascal Flats. Yes, I'm a big country fan and Rascal Flats is one of my  favorites. This particular song means a lot to me because it really speaks to my life, the one I have now, today. When I heard this song...way back about 5 years ago (not sure on that date, but it's pretty close) it made me stop in my tracks. I've had some challenges in the past - and, I felt this song really got to the heart of how I felt, at that time.)

I offer you, "I'm Movin' On" by the Rascal Flats. (note: I've moved on... but, this song still lights up my day, because it serves to remind me of why and how I moved on...to be where I am now.)

- Rascal Flatts Lyrics

So, let's hear from my friends Andy, and Susan, and Greg, and Laura.

Beautiful choice! I enjoy this song too.

I'm a guy and I love musicals too! Miss Saigon is a personal favorite of mine!
