Well, let's not assume this is how all media view women. Let's just say there are too many creative directors out there who think commercials focused on the issues seen here, are the way to reach a certain female demographic. It's insulting both to men and women.
And people want to tell me that gender doesn't matter - or that we're experiencing a new era where women are finally being given the respect and consideration they deserve. Well, maybe somewhere, but not in marketing to women on TV. Honestly, how often do you see commercials about this stuff? Every half hour? ~ Yvonne DiVita
