Here's two new Sweepstakes to Jazz it up and Be Happy

By Guest Blogger, Donna DeClemente, Donna's Promo Talk

I recently launched a couple of new sweepstakes that I'd like to share with you this week. Even though I haven't posted here in a couple of weeks, doesn't mean I haven't been busy.

MSC-DivaMSC Cruises has just launched the first in a series of sweepstakes to promote their newest ship, the MSC Divina, which is sailing throughout the Caribbean year round. Now through September 29 fans can enter the Jazz it up with the Diva Sweepstakes from the MSC Cruise Facebook page for a chance to win a 7-night cruise for themselves and a guest on this ship. MSC is an Italian cruise line based in Ft.Lauderdale, but will be sailing out of Miami starting this fall. The MSC Divina features a Gold Jazz Bar filled with jazz music and rare whiskies, cognac and aged grappa. Also onboard is an Italian piazza complete with live Italian music and a gelateria.  I can never get enough gelato! Fans can gain an extra entry for each friend that they invite on Facebook who also enters the sweepstakes and also by sharing on Twitter.

Purina-PetParkPurina has just launched the Be Happy Brand Pet Food Sweepstakes which is running off of Walmart.com Purina Pet Park but links to our micro-site. To help pet owners "Be happy" the sweepstakes is offering chances to win one of 10 pairs of Beats by Dre’ Wireless Headphones and a $200 Walmart gift card. Another 10 winners will each receive a Jawbone Big Jambox (Wireless Speaker and Speakerphone) and a $200 Walmart gift card. Plus everyone who enters gets a coupon good towards a purchase of Purina Be Happy Pet Food.

So in case you are curious as to why I haven't posted recently, well it is August and I did take a couple of vacation days. I went down south to visit some family and spent a few days at the beach. But before I left I got to experience the PGA Championship which was held at Oak Hill Country Club right here in Rochester, NY. Our area had been preparing for this since the last time the PGA was here 10 years ago, and what an event it was. It's amazing what they create in temporary buildings to accommodate the crowds for such a short time. The PGA Merchandise tent alone was a 32,000 square foot golf shop. Across from that I got to play the Scan to Win Instant Win Game, which I didn't win!

TigerAnyhow, it's all history now. Jason Dufner won. Phil had a really bad time and Tiger was non eventful.  A good friend of mine was at the practice round on Tuesday with her two kids and Phil spent about 90 minutes after his round signing autographs for all the kids. She said there must have been close to 100 kids that got his autograph. I unfortunately didn't get to see Phil, but did see Tiger and quite a few other players. So I couldn't resist  sharing one of my photos of Tiger here actually smiling for us fans!

I'll be back next week, so stay tuned and thanks again for reading!
