LinkedIn Ups The Game #linkedinfollowbutton

New-pic-yvonneby Yvonne DiVita

Just a quick post... read in my daily note from the folks at readwrite, I just learned that LinkedIn has a follow button now.

According to Owen Thomas, "A gigantic change is quietly sweeping through LinkedIn. Millions of members now have a "Follow" button, a feature that promises to transform how we think about our interactions on the professional network. ReadWrite has found, and LinkedIn has confirmed to us, that a far broader set of users can now broadcast their activity to followers who don't need to formally connect with them to see what they're doing."

It doesn't look like it's 'in your face' or readily available for all, as I clicked over to MY page and couldn't find it anywhere - not for me, for the folks I follow already or are connected to.

Are you being followed on LinkedIn? Does your page reflect a Follow button to allow me to follow you, easily? Well worth a looksee.

What do you think of this new development? Good? Bad? Indifferent? I *think* I like it, but time will tell.
